First NDP training at marina bay. Component training was a little tough, cause we kept repeating the march-in since it sucks. We needed to to be perfect. Had the full run at night, with the F-16 fly-by bomb blast, flag on the helicopter, and the 21-gun salute during president's inspection. Bomb blast sounded super nice, cause we were super close and thus it was super loud. We couldn't see the flag, it was directly above us and we can't look up cause it'll screw up the parade. Oh and we had the dances, intro of tanks and such, commandos/guards and other parts of the parade done as well. During the inspection, simulated, there was the 21-gun salute (artillery/cannon fire) and nobody expected it, so when the first shot was heard it was so loud everybody jumped. Lol.
"MESUK-BARIS!"
"HYA!"
Hahaha. Inside joke.

Monday! 22nd June 2009. 1st day of Land Spec Course.
Had to march in, and even before the thing started i already screwed up. Got scolded by OIC. Sian. Joined Frigate-1 platoon. Had trainfire test and a bit of IFC test. Which was quite boring cause they did it 1-by-1 for IFC and a few by a few for TF, and the rest of us had to wait. Once you're done you still had to wait. So nothing much to talk about. At night we had Physical Fitness test. Did only 26 push-ups, but 30(full marks) for sit-ups. And i still had like 15 seconds more to wait. Lol. After that had colours, and it took like half an hour. Met Amir sleeping on my right, Samuel slept on top. At night cannot sleep. So Amir and i stand on bed and talk and see magic card trick. Sam brought alarm clock. Damn wtf. Lol. In the end we all slept.
Tuesday! 23rd June 2009. 2nd day of Land Spec Course.
One of the most fun days ever. Whole day outing. On the bus, SM dropped beret on the floor. But lucky everybody was sleeping. Except me and Sam. And SM found out before we reached. We passed by a sign that reads "Singapore Discovery Centre" and we were like happy. Then we passed by a sign that reads "Pasir Laba Camp" and we were a little disappointed. Then we passed another sign that read "Singapore Discovery Centre" again. Sam was like "Can they make up their mind?" and in the end we went to Pasir Laba Camp to see 5 weapons. Mortar, SPIKE anti-tank grenade launcher, and 3 support weapons namely the MATADOR anti-tank rocket launcher, M203 Grenade launcher attached to M-16 rifle, and the GPMG machine gun, my favourite. Then we tested these 3 only, and had simulation runs. Almost did it but no time. So quite sad. Then had lunch. Then went to Army Museum with half of Frigate-3 platoon. Quite a cool place. And one of the facilitators looked like Leticia. Lol. I'm serious. Then went to SDC to play a game and nothing more. Went back and had dinner, then did someore IFC tests which i screwed a lot up. Lights out at 12am.
Wednesday. 24th June 2009. LAST DAY of Land Spec Course.
Completed IFC, had photo taking, then POP. Nothing much to write. Only got 3rd sergeant. So quite sad. Yeah. That's about all.
Oh and i can't remember when this was from but it was during colours.
SM: Kedua-baris!
OIC: Samula. Where you want them to go?
SM: Besu-rai!
OIC: Samula. You want to go home is it? I also want to go home leh.
SM: Mesuk-baris!
Hahaha. It was damn funny.

And i love you too! <33
Lol.
I pray,
that God will see us through this,
that He will not let our prayers go in vain,
that He will help us,
that He will allow us a change of heart,
that He will give us what we want,
that He will not let us down.
In Jesus's most precious name we pray,
Amen.
