JXY '08 was the most memorable camp i ever had. Thank you, guys. I love you. Thank you for all your letters and stuff. Thank you, all Xiao Ming members, for wearing the shirt proudly and helping out the YGZ. Thank you, all Slice-Of-Life members, my team, my family. Thank you Rachel, for perservering despite your injury to help the group out, and Congratulations to you on getting Best Female Camper. We missed you when you were gone. Thank you also, Jeremy, for being such an awesome leader, and we miss you too. Thank you Ian Sr. for being a great SP,and i really appreciate everything you've done for me. Lastly, a BIG BIG Thank You to everyone in Camp for making my and other's first JXY a great one, and i am happy that i've got to know you guys better.

First Night of JXY was exciting and got everybody in the mood, especially when we Tau-Pok-ed Nick Cheang. The Camp Song was also really nice and the Lyrics were meaningful. It was such an amazing and somewhat touching song. We got sorted out into groups, and I landed up with Kang Joe, Rachel, Jeremy and Lesley(who wasn't there at that moment). We got our SP (Secret Pals) too. Called ourselves the Slice-Of-Life. Read the most bottom post to find out more. Created a mascot, which was a slice of pie made from newspaper as crust and filling, and Scotch Tape. Look at the bottom of the page to see it. We were asked to think of the cheer by the next day.
As usual, many couldn't sleep during the first Camp Night, so what my row of Campers(Nic Tan, Kang Joe, Ian Jr., Caius and me) did was to do night PT, Caius and i K.O.-ed after just 5 minutes. The other 3 continued softly, of course, but still irritating and Renyi was pretty pissed. Kept sitting up and watching them.

Woke up at about 6.30am. The sky was so bright, i actaully thought my watch was too slow. Turned out to be perfectly fine. Gathered at the CarPark and did PT, which i am unable to recall what happened. Ate bread for breakfast and gathered in an air-conditioned room, the RCIA room. For some "unforseen circumstances", Leticia was moved to our group. They thought us a Hip-Hop dance, the Camp Dance, only the first verse. It's really great Choreography except for a few parts. I can't really remember what happened after lunch all the way to sleep time so someone please enlighten me, thanks. I couldn't sleep, again. This time it's most probably because i was too excited to wait till 12am, 29 nov '08. My birthday, the one and only.

My birthday had finally arrived. In fact, i was so excited that after my watch read 6.22am, i started to relax and woke up at 6.34am by the lights which Renyi turned on to wake the rest of us up. 12 minutes of sleep. Amazing. PT was a little retarded, to be extremely honest with you, but it was fun. Did Predator Hopping and Kang Joe's hand was wounded all over. I had a small cut on my right palm, but no bleeding. Told Caius not to tell anybody about my birthday, wanted it to be a regular day for me. Word got out though, apparently i forgot to tell Ian Jr. the same thing. At least it was still a regular day for me, except somehow i did much work and i'm extremely happy to have done it. After breakfast we gathered outside the RCIA room and Angela asked what i wanted. Volunteered for a Tau-Pok. No, seriously. Then she asked me what i wanted to tell them and i thanked them for being such great friends. They really are awesome people, so much so that i didn't regret joining LOM. =) Did more Hip-Hop, this time learnt the Chorus part. Once again, i can't remember what happened until after dinner, which we did Cluedo. Super awesome, and super scary. Then, sleep. But of course, i did not sleep. =)

Missed my birthday, no tau-pok. A bit sadded. This day i can't remember most of the things that happened. In fact, i only remembered only one of the programs, Wan Hui(YGZ did a catwalk show, uber funny). Had to do a skit, but because Lesley wasn't there we needed to change our skit. And surprisingly, we made it and we did it really well. It's about Mojojojo creating the "powderypoof boys", starring Leticia as Mojo, Rachel as Narrator and killed person, Jeremy as Boss(boy blossom) Kang Joe as Bombers(boy bubbles) and me as Blubbercup(boy buttercup) and after they killed someone the boys felt guilty and decided to change. They went back and killed Mojo and to make things more funny Jeremy said, "Woops, we just did it again(kill someone)". Screwed up our dance, wanted to redo but we didn't. The other groups did their skits and dances, and the YGZ did parody versions of local advertisements(e.g. allswell drink and Anything Whatever drink). Then the Guests had to vote which team was best. Ended up with a tie between Our(Slice of Life) and Renyi's group(Athena). Had to scream to see which team is better and out team won, somehow. Sadly, Rachel ahd to leave early so she didn't get to celebrate with us. After that Jeremy had to leave too. YGZ did a skit also, very funny and pretty nice. After that 5 Marists did cleaning up with the YGZ.

Nobody slept, really. Only me, Luke, John and Kang Joe were in the dormitory. The rest were in the SP room. Evaluation and then clean up, prize presentation and then Tau-Pok(me, post-birthday bash and Nick Cheang, cause he promised he'd let us give him one). Can't really say much, i'll edit the post on 3rd or 4th dec, Shun Bian write about NCC Change Of Command Parade. Amazing day. Returned home happy. =))

Why we called our group the S.o.L., was from the newspaper, actually a group for Obese people. But we thought, the theme for JXY '08 is "choices" and Choices is a part or slice of your whole life, so yeah.
I know i missed out quite a heck lot of things, but i don't know the sequence and stuff. So yeah, please enlighten me. Use my tagboard, tell me what to edit, thanks. =)
